Sony augmented reality gets smart

Here’s hoping the NGP is blessed with a similarly SmartAR brain

Sony has been crap with security of late. But that’s clearly because it was busy developing a new augmented reality it's calling SmartAR. Unlike the AR on the Nintendo 3DS, this won’t require specific barcode cards to activate. It also means AR images can be captured and read in more detail later. Now they just have to make sure to put SmartAR in the Sony NGP and – with their free games giveaway – we can call it even on the security debacle.
