Own a Sonos system? And an iPad? Good news – reading this is going to make your life better. And it won’t cost you a penny.

Sonos has released an iPad app – Sonos Controller – that works in portrait or landscape mode, supports a multi-pane view and lets you see what’s playing in every room in the house.

You can also use it to search and browse, see what’s cued up to play next and drool over your album art.

It’s arriving in late August. And it’ll be free from the App Store.
