OS X Lion 10.7.1 update released

17 Aug 2011

Before you get too excited, Mac OS X Lion's update to 10.7.1 doesn’t boast any new features, but then again you did already get 250 when it first came out.

What it does have is plenty of bug fixes, so if you’ve just shelled out £55 on a newly released solid-state version of Lion, sorry to say it’s outdated. The update will, among other things, stop a potential crash while playing video in Safari, improve Wi-Fi, prevent display flickering on MacBook Air, speed up Mac Mini SD card reading, and make sure HDMI doesn’t cut out audio on all Macs.

Now we wait with bated breath for 10.7.2 and its inevitable iCloud compatibility.
