TomTom One and XL get IQ Routes

02 Apr 2009

TomTom remains top of the pile when it comes to getting from a to b. And its IQ Routes tech has already put them well ahead of the curve. But until now, the intelligent routing system has only been up for grabs on their pricier GO series.Today though, the Dutch mapping maven has shoved IQ Routes into their cheaper ONE and XL models. That means punters with less cash can now get involved with routes that intelligently avoid traffic jams and local inside knowledge on the best way to make your way around. There's more too. TomTom has also spruced both the ONE and XL up with a new black finish, so those who aren't fans of brushed metal and grey plastic can join the party.Prices kick off at just £150. Well worth it  if you're looking to get your first satnav or even replace your older TomTom.Essentials TomTom ONE and XL IQ Routes Price: £150 On sale: Now Contact: TomTom

Will there be a patch for existing XL users to include this feature?
