Get your choice of Sat Nav voice with YourPND

If your TomTom’s selection of preset voices makes you want to drive into a ditch with irritation, fear not. You can now cast your own in-car saviour with YourPND.com.  In less than ten minutes you can record a set of files to download directly to your TomTom for €7. If you want to keep the files you can grab a USB drive of dulcet tones for just €20.  But there’s a slight hitch at the moment – the website’s based in Holland. Unless you’re a real clever clogs you’ll be dam (sic) confused and it’ll read like double Dutch.  Now we’ve got out puns out of the way, here’s the good news: an English version of the site will launch in early 2008 with versions for Garmin, MyGuide and Mio owners on the cards too.
