Now, granted, anyone who is a bit handy with Photoshop could whip this up without much of a problem, but it’s interesting all the same.
We know that the first bada handset is set to hit stores in the first half of 2010, and will pack a touchscreen-based UI to bring the “smartphone experience” to a wider experience.
We had also heard yesterday that bada would replace Symbian in Samsung’s portfolio of phones from next year, however it appears this may not be the case.
A Samsung spokesperson got in contact with Stuff.tv to let us know how the company stands on Symbian.
They said: “Samsung is an initial member of Symbian Foundation and continues to cooperate with Symbian Foundation.
“At the same time, Samsung supports various existing open operating systems including Symbian, Linux, Android, and Windows Mobile.”
They added: “To provide more choices to meet consumers' many different taste and preference, we will continue our 'multi-OS' strategy.”
Perhaps they should tell Samsung’s senior vice president Don Joo Lee that…
Do you think this phone is what we’ll see packing bada next year? Let us know your thoughts on this below.
