Samsung to supply A6 chips for a 4in iPhone 5?

Despite all the bickering, business is still business…

Samsung is increasing its production of A6 quad-core processors for Apple according to an industry source interviewed by the Korean Times. Despite the legal bickering between Samsung and Apple, both companies remain critical business partners – Apple spent a gargantuan US$8 billion dollars on Samsung-made parts this year alone.

We expect the A6 chip to grace the innards of Apple’s upcoming iPad 3 and iPhone 5, which – incidentally – industry sources believe will finally feature a 4in LCD display at the same 960x640 resolution, provided once again by LG.

It’s far too early to separate fact from fiction at this stage, but we hope that won’t stop you from joining us in our quad-core powered iPhone 5 daydreams…
