Samsung’s latest laptop – the 7 Series Z – has just launched, giving us a glimpse of its aluminium body and a super slim bezel that lets it pack its 15.6in screen into a trim shell.
Appearances aside, Sammy’s new notebook runs a Core i5 processor (or optional i7) and has the same 6GB or 8GB ExpressCache SSD we saw on the company’s 3D-toting Series 7 Gamer a couple of weeks back. That means it’ll boot up in under 20 seconds and load Internet Explorer in just six. Meatier storage guts can be found in the Series 7’s 750GB HDD. Full spec below.
There’s an oversized glass trackpad, backlit keyboard and 1600x900, 300-nit screen and when the Series 7 700Z goes on sale in mid-October prices will start at £800.
