Squeezing the functionality of a DSLR in to the body of a compact, the Samsung NX10 sets itself apart from its rivals by boasting a 14.6 megapixel APS-C size sensor – bigger than those on Micro Four Thirds cameras, as well as a 3-inch AMOLED screen and of course an interchangeable lens system.
There's also a 720p HD movie mode, speedy autofocus and a viewfinder that we so missed on the original Olympus PEN – luckily set to be rectified in its next incarnation.
The Samsung NX10 is due on shelves this month, but there's no mention of exact dates or price. Here's hoping we find out a bit more from CES when we fly out there tomorrow.
