Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 gets ready to roll

Well, perhaps not roll exactly. Slide? Slip? All will become clear on March 22 at Samsung Unpacked

Samsung has started teasing its 22nd March tablet announcement, the second Samsung Unpacked event this year.

The cryptic ‘78910’ code isn’t too hard to break (think 7in-8.9in-10in) and implies the announcement of the rumoured Galaxy Tab 8.9, joining the original 7in Tab and the Galaxy Tab 10.1, announced in February at Mobile World Congress.

The new mid-sized slab of gadgety goodness is expected to run Google Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) which is no big surprise; anything less after the iPad 2 release would be techno-suicide. As usual keep your browsers glued to Stuff.tv for the latest updates but for now just try to keep afloat amongst the incoming tsunami of tablet releases.
