Samsung Galaxy S6 will be revealed just a few hours after the HTC One (M9) makes its debut

Samsung's going to kick off Mobile World Congress with a bang on 1 March

Samsung has sent out official invitations to its Unpacked 2015 event, which means that we now know when we’re finally going to see the long-awaited Galaxy S6.

The all-black invitation is pretty minimal, but there’s obviously something being hinted at with the shiny silhouette. A fork perhaps?

While it’s highly unlikely that Samsung is revealing cutlery (although apparently Samsung-forged eating utensils are a thing in south Korea), we’re instead assuming that a bendy version of the S6 is being hinted at here.

Rumours of an S6 device with a curved screen similar to that of the Galaxy Note Edge have been flittering around for quite some time, and we could very well see one regular, and one curved version strut their stuff on stage at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.

The event itself will take place on 1 March at 18:30 CET – just two and a half hours after HTC’s big One (M9) reveal kicks off.

Samsung will also be live streaming the event while we’re sitting in the front lines, so stay tuned for all the official info. Not too long to wait now…
