The Samsung Galaxy S III must be getting the jitters as it waits behind closed doors, with the whole world clamouring for a look at it. We were told it would touch down before July but now one of the gatekeepers – Samsung Greater China President Kim Young-Ha – has pointed out the unveiling isn’t yet set in stone and it could happen as soon as April.
Samsung may opt for a more aggressive strategy and release the Galaxy S III earlier than expected. We’re guessing that translates as releasing it dangerously near to Apple's new iPad – which will have put a dent in customers' wallets – and well in advance of any iPhone refresh.
We’re looking forward to the Galaxy S III packing a quad-core processor, a huge 4.8in HD screen, ceramic body, and maybe even wireless charging. And we're hopeful that Samsung will let it step into the limelight sooner, rather than later.
