Samsung has added a brace of snappers to its “shoot yourself” 2View camera range, each sporting a front screen to make taking those moody MySpace-style profile pics a breeze.
The Samsung ST600 and ST100 have slightly larger front screens than their predecessors, the ST550 and ST500 (1.8-inch compared to 1.5-inch). These screens are activated by a finger tap and take the guesswork out of self portraits.
The two models are fairly similar – both feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen with gesture controls, and both can capture 720p HD video – with the main difference being the zoom lens. The ST600 has a 27mm wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom, while the ST100’s lens starts at 31.5mm but has its 5x optical zoom contained completely inside the body.
Both will retail for around £300.
