German site Mobiflip has come across some leaked slides showing off a new Sony tablet, the heir apparent to the Sony Tablet S.
The new tablet has Xperia branding, and will be positioned as part of Sony’s smartphone family. Android is on board, alongside a 1280 x 800, 9.4-inch screen, quad-core Intel Tegra 3 processor and a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB flash drives. There’s 3G and Wi-Fi too.
Other slides show off a case that includes a keyboard and mention splash-proofing on the tablet. We’d expect to hear more about this – assuming it’s genuine – at the IFA expo in August.
