Rotosub plans silent future for gadgetry

Swedish company wants to engineer the roar out of your Xbox. Stuff likes the (non) sound of it

Computers, consoles, air-conditioning, your car’s cooling system – they’ve all got fans in them. It’s the reason we’re perpetually surrounded by low-level hum. But that droning soundtrack to your evening gaming sesh could be a thing of the past if Rotosub has anything to do with it. The Swedish firm has engineered a fan with noise-cancelling built in and hopes it could be planted in gadgetry of the future. We’re going to hum a tune of cautious optimism while we wait.
