PSP gets Music Unlimited streaming

Well, it’s not actually unlimited, but seven million tracks hitting Sony’s handheld can’t be a bad thing

PSPs are joining in Sony’s music streaming band of brothers next week with the Xperia Play, Arc and NGP console set to follow.

From Thursday the 14th of April, PSP owners with Playstation Network IDs will have to choose whether to stick with their own music or fork out for a subscription to the Music Unlimited catalogue of over seven million tracks.

The basic subscription gets you a selection of skippable music channels on PS3, VAIO laptops, Blu-ray players and your PSP for £3.99, while £9.99 bumps you up to full access to all the premium channels.
