Sony has fixed the PS3 leap-year bug.They promised the problem would be sorted within 24 hours and they delivered. It's now safe to switch on your PS3

Sony has fixed the PS3 leap-year bug.

They promised the problem would be sorted within 24 hours and they delivered. It’s now safe to switch on your PS3 again.

The problem was an internal clock error where the PS3 thought 2010 was a leap year, resulting in crashes and error messages when connecting to the internet.

Right, after that short hiatus it’s back to RSI City…
