74 per cent prefer iTunes music downloads

20 May 2008

Napster might be readying itself for the download wars and Amazon shaping up to bring its MP3 store to the UK, but it seems the majority of Stuffites still prefer a spot of iTunes.

Yep, the results of last week’s Tech Tickler are in and it’s pretty overwhelming. A massive 74 per cent of you said you preferred Apple’s uber–service. With more gadget lovers packing iPods than any other MP3 player, perhaps it’s hardly surprising.

What’s really caught our eye though is how few people are going out on the digital rob, with only 14 per cent opting to half–inch tracks.

While twelve per cent favour other services like 7Digital and eMusic, we get the feeling that once the big players start plying their digital wares here, more people will turn their backs on Apple.

Keep it here for our weekly Tech Tickler and the chance to win an exclusive howies tee.
