ITV Player lands on Android screens

Android adopters will officially be the first bunch of mobile users to rock ITV’s first ever mobile application. The app will offer unlimited Wi-Fi streaming from all four of ITV's channels, although some users may miss out on a few shows depending on location restrictions. Here's hoping it's only stuff about Jordan and Peter Andre.
If you fancy dipping your toes in some pocketable on-demand telly then you’ll need to be wielding Android 2.2 or above, as well as Adobe Air 2.6. Honeycomb owners should also take solace in the fact that an optimised version for their slates is just around the corner. As for iOS owners – they’ll just have to wait patiently for their turn to play.
