TomTom iPhone car kit goes up for £99.95 pre-order

Just like the app itself it’s taken its time coming, but now finally the TomTom car kit has gone up for pre-order on the UK Apple Store.

It’s currently listed at £99.95, which will get you both the TomTom for iPhone app and the GPS-boosting car kit, with its own microphone and speaker so you can hear where you need to be going much clearer and take handsfree calls.

Now the only let down here is that the app has been on sale for over a month now, and so all those that have already bought it, won’t want to fork out again to get the app just so they can get the car kit. Here’s hoping TomTom has a car kit only version up its sleeve for the not too distant future.

The car kit is listed as shipping in the next two to three weeks, hitting its expected October release date, but you can get your order in now over at the Apple Store.
