Sony Ericsson Satio on sale today

It seems a long time ago we first spied the Satio, then known as the Idou, at Mobile World Congress in February and marvelled at the possibility of a phone with a built-in 12 megapixel camera.

Now Samsung may have beaten Sony Ericsson to it with the Pixon 12, but the Satio finally goes on sale today packing a 3.5-inch, 16:9 touchscreen, 3G, Wifi and GPS to back up its mega camera capabilities.

Taking away from its rather shiny credentials are its lack of 3.5mm jack and just 128MB on-board memory, but there is an 8GB memory card included in the box to help ease the latter problem.
