Samsung readying 8MP camera phone

Samsung Soul

Sony Ericsson’s already outed theirs, LG’s got one in the offing and now Samsung is getting set to come to the 8MP camera phone party.

The new cell, dubbed the i8510, is set to hit stores later this year, rocking a C905–matching sensor and, according to web tittle–tattle, up to 16GB of storage.

Unlike its 5MP rocking i900 cousin, the phone is said to come with Symbian S60 inside, rather than a shonky rebuild of businessman’s favourite, Windows Mobile.

Inside you’ll find Wi–Fi, HSDPA, GPS and DivX support, plus video shooting up to 120fps. You'll also get a Xenon flash.

Obviously, this is all under the radar for now, but expect the i8510 to look a wee bit like the Samsung Soul.
