LG takes wraps off Prada II

If you’ve been sitting in the brace position nervously waiting for the official specs of the Prada II, we have good news – LG has finally ended your misery and unveiled its new touchscreen blower.

There are few surprises from a phone LG admits is ‘almost identical’ to the original apart from the new slide-out QWERTY keypad. Connectivity is impressive thanks to 7.2Mbps HSDPA and Wi-Fi, and you also get FM radio and stereo Bluetooth.

Considering LG seems has seemingly started fitting its camphones with 8MP sensors as standard – just look at the KC780 and KC910 – the Prada II’s 5MP lens might seem disappointing, but it’s hardly a hammer low.

Naturally, LG is claiming that the metallic keyboard makes the Prada II a ‘modern icon of mobile style’ – we’ll be the judge of that in an unboxing and hands-on video soon.
