LG confirms Prada II phone
We already know that LG’s got a Prada II in the works, thanks to a string of leaked shots creating plenty of web–based gossip. But now LG has finally come clean and said they’ll be releasing the phone by the end of 2008.
The chaps over at ElectricPig have uncovered a statement by an LG suit celebrating the sale of the millionth Prada phone, which states, “...we will launch a new handset model starting from Europe in the 4Q of 2008.”
The phone is said to come with a QWERTY board, like the new T Mobile G1, rather than the full touchscreen of the original version.
On top of that there’ll be a 5MP snapper, HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.1, with a planned release date some time in November.
Question is, can it better LG’s new 8MP KC910? We reckon it’s going to be a belter and make the new Samsung Armani Night Effect look average by comparison.
