Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U suspend Sony Ericsson Satio sales
Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U have reportedly suspended sales of Sony Ericsson's highly-anticipated Satio smartphone after a large number of customers returned the handset, complaining of a software glitch. The 12 megapixel snapper was first spied at Mobile World Congress this year, but despite the hype behind it, somewhat underwhelmed us here at Stuff Towers with its temperamental touchscreen and lack of 3.5mm jack. However, customers are reporting a problem with the handset that sees it turning off when they tried to run certain applications. After failing to be resolved through an over-the-air patch, the two stores have made the decision to stop selling the handset until the problem has been resolved.Sony Ericsson has said that the number of handsets returned was "fairly low" compared to the number of Satios that have been sold, but that it was fixing the problem. Once sorted, it expects sales to remain strong in the run up the Christmas.Have you experienced any problems with your Satio, or has this put you off buying one? Let us know your thoughts below.Via: The Times

Thats really disappointing - expected this handset to be really popular with that camera. How did they let it get to market with bugs?!
