5 things you need to know about the BlackBerry Storm

It's got a clickable touchscreen
RIM's touchscreen does pack multitouch, but they've taken Apple's effort and tweaked it so you don't slip into any unwanted apps or attachments. You can highlight links and then press down and push the screen like a regular button. It doesn't feel forced and will make Cupertino sit up and take notice.

It's packing Flash support
Gadget freaks the world were left exasperated when Apple left Flash out of the iPhone 3G. The BlackBerry Storm comes with full support, so you can book tickets and watch vids on Stuff.tv on–the–go. If anything sets it apart from the competition, this is it.

It doesn't have Wi–Fi
The BlackBerry Storm might have full HSDPA, but Wi–Fi is missing completely. That means proper, speedy web in a hotspot is a no go. Rumour has it this is down to Vodafone wanting to keep punters surfing on their networks. Either way, we think it's a pretty major oversight for a phone that mixes business and pleasure.

There are 26 price plans
Vodafone isn't shirking from offering choice. You can pick the Storm up on 12, 18 and 24 month deals. Plump for £35 on the latter and you'll get the phone for nowt. Or pay a massive £85 a month and get a frankly obscene 3,000 minutes and unlimited texts and web.

You can only get it from Vodafone and Phones4U
Phones4U has sewn up an exclusive deal, which means you can't nab it from Carphone Warehouse. If that fills you with dread, then you can always buy it direct from Vodafone.
