HTC HD2 to get Windows Phone 7 upgrade?

It's already the most promising Windows Mobile phone we've seen, but it seems the HTC HD2 could get even better with an update to Windows Phone 7 when the OS launches.
The news has come through Adobe, which stated it would not be providing Flash 10.1 with support for WinMo 6.5 due to the OS not supporting "some of the critical APIs".
It did however state it would be offering support for Windows Phone 7 handsets, and that one of the first to receive Flash will be the HTC HD2 – a handset which of course, currently runs 6.5.
This certainly suggests an upgrade to WP7 is in the pipeline, especially as the HD2 handset matches the minimum spec requirements for the first WP7 chassis.
Upgrades from WinMo 6.5 to WP7 is not something Microsoft itself is opposed to, saying in a tweet that upgrades were "really for hardware partners to think about".
As for Flash support on Android phones, the Milestone and Nexus One will be among the first to get it in 2010, although all Android smartphones that match Adobe's software and hardware requirements will get it with time. You hear that Apple?
Would you upgrade your HD2 to Windows Phone 7, or will you stick with 6.5? Let us know below.

The HTC HD2 with the help of XDA Dev is the only real reason I got mine one some months back and hugely happy... and can't wait for WP7s to happen! [^_^]/
Something tells me things are going to hugely change in the market with the value of the HTC HD2 value increase. The Apple iPhone thingys will be something of the past that is laughed upon and Android OS phones will be the main decent alternative... although you can also run Android on the HTC HD2 too! {^_^}/

Never been so certain about my next phone until now; HD2 with Windows Phone 7.
So long my N95 and so long Orange if you don't carry it and I've been with Orange since they started.

I really fancied this but I worried it would be out of date by the time I come to upgrade. This may mean I still go for it.

I think that I would prefer to stick to Windows 6.5 for a while until windows mobile 7 was thoroughly tested and working. I would like using a stable Windows 7 mobile version in 6 to 9 months after the launch.
So the Windows 7 mobile should be an upgrade option.

Would love to upgrade my HTC HD2 to Windows Phone 7, but how will it affect any apps I have, and what would be the charge to upgrade? Not sure how soon this upgrade will be available, if people are coming to the end of their contract they may not bother if they are due a new phone shortly. Still think I will be upgrading, always upgraded my PC's, my current laptop has Windows 7.
