Sony Ericsson Windows Phone prototype spotted in the wild

17 Jan 2012

Windows Phone looks set to welcome Sony into the Microsoft fold, if a bunch of leaked spy shots of a WP7-toting Sony Ericsson are anything to go by.

With Sony and Ericsson having already publicly parted ways, the old branding suggests the leaked images are pretty old. But it could still be part of Sony's plan to put itself on the smartphone map now it's going it alone.

While Sony Ericsson has never officially confirmed plans to enter a partnership with Microsoft, the company hasn't ruled it out either, despite focusing its efforts on its army of Android phones.

If there is a Sony Windows Phone in the pipeline, perhaps we'll see it Mobile World Congress? Though something tells us the chances of a PlayStation Certified, Xbox Live-toting Windows Phone are pretty slim.

You've got to admit, a Sony Windows Phone with an Exmor R sensor-equipped camera would be pretty darn tasty.

This is good news to me, I didn`t expect for Windows 7 to come up with a phone release so soon, though here they are to surprise us even more. Sincerely, I kind of like the idea of having one of those, but I don`t quite know how it would be like to make such a big change, from my old reliable verizon cell phones for sale source I used to buy my cells from. Is it wrong to be a conservative among all these evolutionary people?
