Rumour Mill – Will the Microsoft Zune Phone debut at MWC?

While we may still be yet to see the Zune PMPs released on our shores, sources close to Microsoft say the company is gearing up to announced the long-rumoured Zune Phone at MWC in a few weeks.
Spanish blog MuyComputer says it has had the news 100% confirmed, with Microsoft set to team up with Nvidia by packing a Tegra chipset in under the hood.
It'll apparently be running Windows Mobile 7, which we've already heard would have media support for Zune, have a 480 x 272 screen and an HDMI out, but that's all we have spec-wise, so far.
Gizmodo points out that the phone is not going to be primarily a Zune with phone capabilities, but that it'll be a phone with the Zune software on it (similarly to how the iPhone has iPod software on it).
The only question now is will we just be seeing one Zune Phone, or more? Just last week, a Zune software update threw up three references to drivers for phones.
We'll have to wait and see exactly what Microsoft has up its sleeve for us in a couple of weeks, but we'll be in Barcelona bringing you back the latest as it happens.
Be sure to keep it locked to Stuff.tv from the 14 February for more mobile news than you could throw your old handset at, and let us know what you think Microsoft has planned below.

I don't think there will be a "Zune phone" on a month ago at the Google phone launch Microsoft said it was a bad idea for the OS vender (Android) to make a phone too as they would lose trust in their hardware partners. It would seem odd to make a statement like that knowing you were about to do the same. What I think we will get this month is a demo of Windows Mobile 7 running "Zune software" build most likley by HTC
