HTC Ruby leaked

The Android handset is headed for T-Mobile, but what exactly we can expect is less clear

Remember those six to eight new HTC smartphones coming later this year? Heads up: the first of HTC’s secret handsets to show its fascia is the Ruby. The phone you see here (unearthed by the mobile phone sleuthery of Pocketnow) is an Android-toting smartie which is likely to be a Sensation-lite. Branding suggests a T-Mobile exclusive, so we’ll see who comes clean about its future. Our best guess: mid to high-end spec, Gingerbread and a September release. That means it should be going head-to-head with another smartphone believed to be launching in September. Did someone say iPhone 5?
