Galaxy Nexus up for pre-order, apparently
Samsung's Galaxy Nexus, as it's called this week, has just appeared on a Singapore website up for pre-order. Since the device was scheduled for an unveiling yesterday, but was cancelled – purportedly in honour of Steve Jobs – it’s understandable that some websites might have forgotten to stop their launches.
For us it means smiles all round as more pics get leaked and add weight to the data sheet specs spotted last week. It looks like we’re in for an astounding 4.65in 720p (1280x720) resolution display, which means an eye-baffling 320ppi (compared to 326ppi on the iPhone 4S). On top of that is a rumoured 1GB RAM, 1.2GHz dual-core A9 chip, 32GB storage, and the all new Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
It could be worth waiting – before you rush off to get Siri on your iPhone 4S – to see if the Galaxy Nexus will be the next big thing when it's announced on (or near) October 19th.

it's actually 316ppi on nexus, compared to 326ppi on 4S. however, you get the same comparable resolution per inch, but in a considerably bigger screen. awesome.
