We wouldn't mind a budget iPhone if it looked like these colourful renders

Dutch designer Martin Hajek has whipped up a few renders of what the long-rumoured budget iPhone could look like. Following in the footsteps of Apple's iPod Touch 5G design, the proposed budget iPhone is shown off in both red and blue polycarbonate shells, with both 3.5in and 4.5in screen sizes.

We've seen rumours of a budget iPhone set to be released in August this year alongside the iPhone 5S, and while a polycarbonate body in Apple's traditional colour palette doesn't seem too far fetched to us, the jury's still out on whether or not the Cupertio tech giant will dilute its premium product image with a cheaper iPhone. While we're waiting to find out, at least we have these rather wonderful renders to eyeball.
