Samsung Galaxy S Advance officially announced

Remember how this morning we reported that Samsung’s Galaxy S Advance might be launched at Mobile World Congress... alongside this lot? Well, it turns out that launch has been brought forward… to right now.
The TouchWiz-skinned Gingerbread phone has a 4in WVGA Super AMOLED screen, while that Android 2.3 OS ought to crackle along on the dual-core 1GHz processor.
There are a pair of cams – 5MP on the rear, saddled with an LED flash, and 1.3MP on the front – plus the usual army of sensory tech, including Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS and gyroscope.
Samsung’s Galaxy S Advance isn’t a bad looker either, especially for a mid-budget smartie and it certainly hasn’t been on the pie diet at less than 10mm thin and weighing just 120g.
Perhaps this morning’s leak prompted Sammy to come clean about the Galaxy S Advance. Either that, or it’s concentrating on that 11.6in Galaxy Tab we got wind of over the weekend.
