Pentax outs "adventure-proof" W80

Following on from last year's W60 which we liked so much, Pentax has outed its latest model in its range of "adventure-proof" cameras in the

Packing a couple of extra megapixels to its predecessor, the W80 boasts 12.1 megapixels, a 5x internal optical zoom,  2.5-inch LCD screen and a 28mm wide angle lens.

Another improvement Pentax has made is that the W80 is capable of capturing HD movies at 30fps, and will allow you to capture your underwater hijinks for up to two hours.

On top of being waterproof to 5m, the W80 is also dustproof, coldproof to -10ºC and now shockproof as well, to withstand those clumsy drops up to 1m. It also has a similarly rugged design but stays skinny at 1-inch thick.

The W80 will be available in July, with American pricing listed as $299.95. We're chasing UK pricing as we type, and will keep you updated.
