Santa was loading up his sledge with all manner of gadgetry when Asus snuck up behind him and shouted its Transformer Prime tablet was on sale in the UK. Poor old Santa was inundated with requests as this £500 Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core beauty caught the hearts of the nation.

But Santa’s sack still has room thanks to apps – the biggest released this month (and maybe ever) was GTA III for iOS in all its 3D gaming, radio groove-packed glory. And the mobile fun didn’t stop there as OnLive launched on iOS and Android devices for gaming anywhere data can be grabbed.
