Next Big Thing – TriMove hubless trike

So the Bat Cycle has gone on a diet?
Is that the best you can do? Granted, its unusual stretched-out style certainly bears a resemblance to the Dark Knight's runabout, but that's not all that's interesting about this bike. Check out those wheels.

Doesn't the Piaggio MP3 have three wheels already?
Indeed, but this is no scooter. It leans into corners like the Piaggio, giving it oodles of grip, but we know which we'd rather be seen on, and look – those three wheels are also hubless.

Doesn't sound very safe – don't wheels have hubs for a reason?
Sure, it's the traditional way, but where's the fun in that? There may be a few kinks to iron out in the engineering department, but once that's done being hub-free will pave the way for all manner of interesting machines.

So what you're really saying is this is the end for Spokey Dokes?
I'm afraid it looks that way.
