Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
Ignore Tim Burton’s misfiring reboot and reach for the original film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic story. Where Johnny Depp’s Wonka was plain creepy, Gene Wilder’s is naïve and charming – if blatantly mad. Charlie Bucket and his grandfather take the chocolate factory tour in the spirit you’ll watch it – awed wonderment.

Family movies are so great.I saw a movie once about a guy who owned a store with urns for ashes and there were ghosts which were coming late in the night to scare all those who were looking through the window.Great movie.
