An American Werewolf in London (1981)

Ever felt out of place? American students David and Jack do, after stumbling into an unwelcoming pub on the Yorkshire Moors. After the tumbleweed blows past, they’re offered a couple of nuggets of advice: “Beware the moon, lads” and “Keep to the road.” Naturally, they fail to heed these wise pearls, forcing 1980s special effects maestro Rick Baker to create the decade’s most enduring Werewolf transformation scenes. Funnier than it sounds, actually.

I have actually registered to disagree with this top 5!Yes you rightly have AWIL in there and The Wolf Man and i`ll give you Dog Soldiers but what about The Howling,Silver Bullet,The Beast must Die and the Ollie Reed classic The curse of the Werewolf!
    Top five should be
    5.Dog soldiers
    4.The Beast Must Die
    3.The wolfman
    2.The Howling
    1.AWIL

In truth, I'm not a fan of horror films. I much prefer the kind with a sense of comedy or drama, that make us think about something. Not every film is worthy, but that in my opinion deserves the Crystal Awards.
