The Wolf Man (1941)

The Wolf Man (1941)

Bela Lugosi strikes again, in this tragic, black and white horror classic. Playing a gypsy-wolf who attacks Larry Talbot, our protagonist, Bela gets himself killed after turning Larry into a werewolf. Larry, played by Lon Chaney, flees from the villagers hunting him and bumps into Gwen, his love interest, in the forest. Shouldn’t have made that full moon date, Gwen. The Wolf Man make-up created by Jack Pierce is – justifiably – one of the most famous creature designs in the history of cinema.

I have actually registered to disagree with this top 5!Yes you rightly have AWIL in there and The Wolf Man and i`ll give you Dog Soldiers but what about The Howling,Silver Bullet,The Beast must Die and the Ollie Reed classic The curse of the Werewolf!
    Top five should be
    5.Dog soldiers
    4.The Beast Must Die
    3.The wolfman
    2.The Howling
    1.AWIL

In truth, I'm not a fan of horror films. I much prefer the kind with a sense of comedy or drama, that make us think about something. Not every film is worthy, but that in my opinion deserves the Crystal Awards.
