Packard Bell planning colour ereader and tablet device for 2010?

Packard Bell is apparently readying both a colour ereader and convertible tablet netbook, in an attempt not to miss the boat on the two next "big

The company was perhaps a little late on to the scene with its dot netbook, and so its apparently trying to prevent this happening again by jumping on the tablet and ereader bandwagons.

The tablet device will reportedly be similar to the Acer 1820PT convertible netbook, with an 11.6-inch screen, and the colour ereader is set to follow later in the year.

With a couple of colour screen versions rumoured for next year, including one from sister company Acer, it really seems ereaders will be taking it to the next level in 2010, and with Apple’s tablet rumours refusing to die off, we can imagine a lot of retailer will be wanting to follow suit.
