The Nvidia Tegra 3 processor has been titillating our tech-sense with its quad-core super powers since we played with the Asus Transformer Prime. And now we learn the Tegra 3 will soon be powering our cars, too.
Nvidia’s Tegra 3 has already been linked with tablets and a few mobiles including the fabled HTC Edge, and now the processor giant has just bought a research building in China where it will be working on automotive electronics, according to Digitimes.
Could we be seeing Apple iTV in our cars in the near future? As devices become more personalised to the user, it’s a very real possibility that car settings could be automated as your motor recognises your mobile phone entering the car.
