Nokia N97 gets priced and dated

Nokia stole the show at the last in 2008, unveiling their feature–laden flagship N97 at Nokia World in Barcelona in December. And having failed

Word is mobile fans will be able to lay their hands on the N97 on March 31, for a SIM–free price of £479. Packing a full QWERTY slide out keyboard, full touchscreen and souped up S60 UI, plus a massive 32GB of on–board storage, it's without doubt one of the must–have phones of 2009.

Nokia's remaining coy about which networks it'll roll up on, but it's certain it'll be free on contract, helping them take the fight not only to Apple, but also the awesome Palm Pre and the slew of new Google Android phones set to hit stores this summer.

We'll be bringing you all the latest news on the N97 from Mobile World Congress next month. In the meantime, check out our full preview of the N97 now and get the full skinny.
