There are no details, no specs and no colour options. But this June – at Europe’s E3 gaming show – we will know all there is to know about Nintendo’s second-gen Wii console. The Wii 2 (to give it an arbitrary, if likely, title) will be announced on the 7th of June. Rumours are rife – we’re hearing HD, but not 3D, for instance – but gaming’s most innovative brand could be setting up to surprise us all again. And we’re backing its bid for living room domination all the way. Expect it to hit shelves some time next year.
