Nokia Lumia 900 gets UK release date

Nokia's flagship Lumia is crossing the pond on April 27 – and Phones 4U has nabbed the white version as an exclusive

The Nokia Lumia 900 – the flagship Windows Phone – is set to hit UK shores on April 27 according to Phones 4U. Sadly, the UK version of the Lumia 900 won’t come packing LTE functionality, as in its US counterpart (pictured). You do get everything else – that means a 4.3in screen with ClearBlack tech, a 1.4Ghz Scorpion processor and an 8MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics for shooting 720p HD video, alongside a 1.3MP front-facing snapper for those Skype calls.

As with the Lumia 800, Phones 4U has snapped up the exclusive on the white edition of the Lumia 900, and is packaging it with a Nokia Play 360° Bluetooth speaker. The Nokia Lumia 900 is available for free with contracts starting at £36 a month. Carphone Warehouse is also carrying the Nokia Lumia 900, if you’re not interested in having the phone in a snowy hue.
