Wind-up radios are all well and good, but too much hard work, particularly if the fruits of your labour are The Chris Moyles Show. But H2O’s new radio doesn’t require your cranking skills – you just have to run the shower.
The Water Power Radio uses a micro turbine to get its frequency modulation on. And it’ll keep going as you towel yourself off afterwards thanks to a built-in battery that charges as the water flows.
So, you can now get your groove on while relaxing under a warm jet, as opposed to violently pumping away with one arm to Chris Moyles. Because that would just be wrong.
The H2O Water Power Radio is ￡35 and will be available from March.
