Rather than hitting a button to turn pages, you can now swipe across the screen instead, iPhone–style. That should make things a tad more realistic if you're missing having a regular paperback in your hand.
Sony's also chucking in a stylus for good measure, with an on–screen QWERTY so you can make annotations next to your favourite passages and the likes. Just like you did when you ruined school–issue books back in the good old days.
Battery life is similar to the PRS–500, with 7.500 page turns and a enough space for 350 books. Sadly, there's no timescale for a UK release, so don't expect it until next year at the earliest.
