HTC One S – build and design

The HTC one S is the HTC's thinnest phone ever, measuring in at a wafer thin 7.9mm. Its sleek curved design is complimented by two unique finishes never before seen in mobile phones.

The black and red version's metal unibody is four times stronger than anodised steel thanks to the science-packed micro arc oxidisation finish, and its durability was proven after our patented Stuff scratch test.

Both the black model and blue anodised gradient-finished model above felt extremely sturdy with nary a creak or flex between them. The quality of both finishes gives the impression that you're holding Batman's personal smartphone – a positive quality to say the least.
