nokia 808 pureview hands on review

Nokia 808 PureView – phone

Honestly? You’ve got a 41MP sensor and you want to know about the phone? Well, okay, but you’re not going to like it. Nokia’s 808 PureView is bereft of that slick Windows Phone interface that’s starting to feel synonymous with Nokia phones – instead you’ll be stuck with an outmoded Symbian Belle OS that’s even Nokia doesn’t believe can keep pace with modern smartphone operating systems. Too bad.

You'll be waiting at least two years, Windows is so far behind in terms of processing power.

"We’ll be back with a more considered opinion when we’ve done our full review."

No you won't you'll bang on about Symbian being dead. You're so off the mark it's untrue there is a plethora (that means a lot) of apps in the Ovi store and things like free Europe wide sat nav with traffic reports all coming as standard.
Yes it's the last Nokia phone on Symbian I get that, because MS have come on board to push there woefully underpowered OS somehow.
The fact that you can't grasp that this had to be on Symbian as the Windows OS at the present time cannot handle the processing says everything about your so called "experts".
    It's a phone for adults.
