Motorola’s paltry line up at Mobile World Congress might have left phone lovers bereft, but it seems they’re finally readying a 5MP treat for us in the next few months.
Web tittle tattle says Moto has got a camera-centric cell in the drawer. Dubbed the ZN5 (known across the net as the Zine) it’s set to be released over the summer, with a rumoured tie-in with Kodak on the cards. It’ll carry the now industry standard 5MP shooter, but there’s no other word on features.
We’ve just got off the phone with Motorola who told us they were “looking at the camera phone space and will be making announcements later this year.” They didn’t deny though that a high-end snapper phone would be on the high street soon.
Looks like we can put this and the mooted Q10 smartphone straight onto the definitely maybe pile then.
We’ll be hooking up with Moto soon to take a look at what they’re prepping for the rest of 2008, so be sure to keep your eyes right on the news feed here at Stuff.tv for all the latest.
