MacBook Pro in line for a refresh already?

The 17in version has only been with us for a month, but already it seems Apple could be set to give their spanking new MacBook Pro an internal refresh

According to the Apple obsessives at MacRumors, that means updated MacBook Pros by the close of 2009. If they do end up inside, then we're looking at a chip offering 22 per cent better performance according to an Intel exec.

Couple that with Snow Leopard's Open CL tech, which utilises the power of the graphics chip to get things moving at an even greater clip, and you're looking at laptops that'll be even harder to resist.

If you're after a MacBook, we say grab one now, as this update is still a way off. And remember to check out our hands–on video with the new MacBooks in action.
